I wanted to experiment with short exposures on the SXV-H9 when imaging the Moon. I had been using a fast Firewire camera but it was only an 8 bit camera and produced noisy images. I wanted to see if the higher quality imaging I could get with the SXV-H9 would compentsate for having alot fewer frames than I would stack with the Firewire camera. I am really happy with the results. It was a very muggy evening and I think seeing was much better than average for my location so that also helped.
