M11 Drizzle Comparison

This example shows what drizzle can do with undersampled images. The following is a part of an image of M11 I took with my 135mm SLR lens at f/4 and my SXV-H9 camera with an Astronomik B filter. The image was created by stacking and summing 15 different 3 minute exposures. If you mouseover you can see the drizzled result. The drizzled result was created is IRIS and uses a resmapling factor of 1.5.

M11 B Observation (summed) - mouseover to see drizzled result

If you want to download the images to examine them here is the summed and drizzled versions. They are JPEGs but the quality is very similar to the raw FITS.
